PCUK has now officially traded successfully for over 10 years. From humble beginnings to becoming an integral part of the Ground Construction Limited Holdings group of companies. Our very competent and dynamic team at the Luton Precast Plant are continuously pushing the design, production and innovation boundaries including the broadening of the spectrum of products we supply. We pride ourselves in using local suppliers, materials and personnel thereby supporting the local economy.
Experience
Our senior management team consists of degree and masters degree qualified person in the fields of structural engineering, project management to IT. A combined wealth of experience in structural design, fabrication, construction and management of 95 years.
Plant
This operation is based at our state-of-the-art facility in Luton where we have various bespoke precast column sliding formwork and hydraulic precast stair systems from Belgium within 2No. large, purpose-made workshops.
The conducive environment boasts the use of a gantry crane, optimum temperature control, cube testing facility and modern technology. Bespoke Plant with imported purpose built formwork.
Good plant capacity to cope with external demand. Guaranteed year-round production.
The dream team
Key community employment contributor with 18no. local people (96%) working at the plant. All personnel are CSCS/CPCS qualified carpenters, welders, steel fixers and plant operators. We pride ourselves on having a very diverse workforce and the specific provisions in place.

Strategic location
Our dynamic facility is strategically located 2 miles / 5 minutes away from the new Junction 11A off the M1. This makes logistics challenges fairly simplified for deliveries to all locations as well as for suppliers and visitors calling to the plant.
Accreditations
Yes, we have been recently re-assessed in October 2023 for the Factory Production Certificate (FPC) and passed with flying colours once again. This is the highest accreditation for producing construction goods in a factory environment. It permits us to manufacture concrete products in line with British Standards and can be freely sold in the UK.
